Returns & Exchange Policy

At All Automated Limited, we strive to provide quality products and services to our customers. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. This policy outlines your rights and our obligations under New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986. 

1. Your Rights Under New Zealand Law
As a customer in New Zealand, you are entitled to specific consumer rights, including:

◦ Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) 1993: You are guaranteed that products are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, match the description, and are free from defects. If goods are faulty or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.

◦ Fair Trading Act 1986: You are protected against false or misleading representations about products and services.

2. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns or exchanges in the following cases:

◦ The item is faulty or damaged upon receipt.
◦ The item does not match the description or is not fit for its intended purpose.
◦ You received the wrong item.

Note: We do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind, so please choose carefully. Exceptions may apply based on our discretion, and the item must be in its original condition, unused, and in the original packaging.

3. How to Return an Item
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
A) Contact Us: Email us at admin@allautomated.co.nz within 7 days of receiving the item with your order number, reason for return, and any relevant photos (if the item is damaged or faulty).
B) Return Authorization: Once we approve your return request, we will provide you with instructions on where to send the item.
C) Pack and Ship: Pack the item securely, including all original packaging, accessories, and proof of purchase.

4. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, we will process your refund within 10 business days via the original payment method.
Important Notes:

◦ Refunds will only be issued for faulty, damaged, or incorrect items as per the Consumer Guarantees Act.
◦ For change-of-mind returns (if accepted), a restocking fee may apply, and return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

5. Exchanges
If you need to exchange an item for the same product (e.g., a different size or color), please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will guide you through the exchange process. All exchanged items must be in their original, unused condition and packaging.

6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange unless faulty:

◦ Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers)
◦ Personal hygiene items (e.g., earrings, undergarments)
◦ Custom-made or personalized products
◦ Clearance or sale items (unless faulty)

7. Shipping Costs for Returns & Exchanges

◦ Faulty/Damaged Items: If the item is deemed faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping costs.
◦ Change of Mind: If we accept a change-of-mind return, you will be responsible for the shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.

8. Timeframes

◦ Returns: Returns must be initiated within 7 days of receiving your order.
◦ Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 10 business days once we receive the returned item.
◦ Exchanges: We will process exchanges within 7 business days of receiving the returned item, subject to availability.

9. Faulty Items
If you receive a faulty item, we will either:

◦ Repair the item (if feasible)
◦ Replace the item
◦ Provide a refund

We reserve the right to determine whether a fault is minor or major under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
